About Our Founder

Lori Karpman is a dynamic businesswoman with essential professional designations and over 20 years of real world business experience. A strong leader and valued team player with outstanding interpersonal skills who understands that communication and respect for human values is the key to productivity and bottom line results.

Fluently bilingual in English and French, Lori is able to confidently provide services in both languages across Canada, the United States, and internationally.

Lori Karpman graduated from McGill University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and both her Civil and Common law degrees. A successful private corporate mergers and acquisitions practice lead her into industry, where she held the position of Director of Legal Affairs and Human Resources for a multi-national, multi-million dollar franchise corporation.

As an integral part of the senior management team of this 3 banner organization, Lori amassed additional expertise in the areas of marketing, finance, and operations while gaining recognition in the franchise industry.

In 1997 she left to co-found her own franchised chain of restaurants called “Zyng Noodlery”, which has garnered numerous prestigious awards for its concept design and marketing including one for “Outstanding Overall Corporate Image” awarded by the Canadian Franchise Association.

In 2004, Zyng was ranked one of the Top 400 Franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine. After a successful joint venture with a U.S. group, Lori left Zyng in 2002 to found a consulting practice to address the needs of the franchise community by offering specialized high level expertise on a personalized project basis.

Since 2002, Lori has worked with franchisors, large and small, to help them develop their concepts and realize their dreams.
